Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actress and a singer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment as a young stage of her life. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell aged 13 when her mother signed as an agent was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. Bell also began taking private acting classes at that time. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in both the music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the role of the lead Dorothy role. After graduating, Bell relocated into New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts, where she was a musical theater student. Bell left the university in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her first credit debut as Becky in Pootie Tang. However, her scene was cut out of the movie and she was not even as a credit. Bell made an appearance on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
